These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mizoho website and the Mizoho mobile app for tracking income and expenses, designed for self-employed individuals. Please read them carefully before placing an order or using our services. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The services described in these Terms are provided by Mizoho ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at any time using the details below:
If you wish to give us formal notice under these Terms, please do so by email or by post to the address above.
Mizoho provides a mobile app that helps self-employed individuals record and organise their income and expenses. The app is a record-keeping tool. It does not constitute accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for meeting your own tax and reporting obligations.
You place an order by selecting a plan or service on our website or within the app and completing the checkout steps. Before you submit your order, you will have the opportunity to review its contents, the price and your contact details, and to correct any input errors.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. A contract between you and Mizoho is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted, or when we make the service available to you, whichever happens first. We may decline an order, for example if the service is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, we will tell you and refund any amount already taken.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order.
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may give you the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of the contract being formed, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us clearly by email at [email protected] or by phone on +44 113 824 5917.
If you ask us to start providing the service or digital content before the 14-day period ends, you may be asked to acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once the service has been fully provided. If you cancel after we have started, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for what has already been provided.
You can cancel a subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we agree otherwise, and you keep access until then. Where you are entitled to a refund, we will pay it within 14 days using the same payment method you used.
We want to put things right if something goes wrong. To make a complaint, contact us at [email protected], by phone on +44 113 824 5917, or by post at 75D Roundhay Road, Leeds, LS2 0WQ. Please include your name, the email address used for your order and a description of the problem. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to respond with a proposed resolution within 14 days. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider, and you keep the right to bring a claim in the courts.
The app, website, design, text and all related content are owned by or licensed to Mizoho. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own business record-keeping for as long as your contract with us continues. You keep ownership of the financial data you enter.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to the above:
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we take reasonable care to provide it with due skill and care. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

We do not use analytics on this website. Advertising measurement runs only after you have given consent, and only on the order confirmation page.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection.
We may update the app and website from time to time to improve them or to reflect changes in law. We may also amend these Terms; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order. If we make a material change that affects an ongoing subscription, we will give you reasonable notice, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you may have to bring proceedings in your home courts.
